This study was intended to assess the healing time of diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) during what is considered one of the worst humanitarian crises of the 21st century. Researchers examined 1,747 DFUs from the main diabetic foot clinic in Damascus (2014-2019). They conducted SINBAD Classification to grade the severity of ulcers.
