Successfully treating, managing and ultimately healing chronic wounds, and sometimes even acute wounds, can prove to be quite challenging even in the 21st century. Despite the advances in technology and dressings, these wounds continue to increase in incidence and clinicians still find themselves struggling to successfully heal them. At the core of this problem is the lack of knowledge and training in wound care found in the majority of all disciplines. Understanding there are numerous factors that can affect healing outcomes, clinicians with current wound care knowledge that know how and when to use technologies and appropriate products during the treatment of these wounds will create more effective healing environments and see vastly improved outcomes. Our mission is to put patients first therefore providing clinicians and facilities with the necessary tools in the form of education, consultation, and hands-on training to best serve the needs of their patients and improve those outcomes
